From Slave to Saint

We will be celebrating Saint Patrick's day on March 17 of this year. It is time to have corned beef, cabbage and carrot for dinner. It is time to know a little bit about Saint Patrick.

The story of Saint Patrick is quite fascinating. His life, his work and his faith are truly amazing.

I have been working on this post since the beginning of March, but just couldn't find myself energize enough to finish. Work here means searching for information, watching the videos of Saint Patrick's life, and try to find the most accurate or closely resembling to the legend of this most popular SAINT.

Now, lets get started, and watch this short video to be acquainted with the patron Saint of Ireland!

What I learned From SAINT Patrick:
  • Listen attentively for God's voice
  • Trust God's direction
  • Obedience to the Church's ruling
  • Have patience to wait for God's timing
What I Take Away from SAINT Patrick:
  • Pray as many times in the course of the day as you can
  • Allow the spirit of the Lord to work within you
  • Bring the words of God and spread them
  • He used the shamrock leaf to teach the Holy Trinity
So here is a video explaining the connection of the shamrock with Saint Patrick:

Whatever you can derive from Saint Patrick's life and work; let this servant of the Lord be the light of your life. Whenever you celebrate Saint Patrick's day, remember how this day became a celebration on earth!

Are you still thirsty to know more about the SAINT? This movie of Saint Patrick is worth watching:
